dragking history
I went to the computer store where Sluggo works. Sluggo asked me to show my I.D.
and so I showed to him. He said I look like "EYE" of the Boredoms. But I didn't think so.
(previous sentence implies that both Sluggo and I knew what Boredoms looks like)
Then a few months later, I found myself with these PUNKS...
other band experiences
I have been leading a progressive-symphonic band called "Pale Ghosts" in Japan for
10 years. But Pale Ghosts has reformed here in Chicago. The current line-up of
Pale Ghosts includes these fellow DK members, Mark Wardo on drums, Lee on sound effects,
devices & percussions; as well as ex-Noise Factory member and the Hyde Park DJ-Creator,
Jamie Hodge on Bass.
fave groups/influences
...well, I have 4 big idols and they are;
Angelo Branduardi (one and only!; 20th century troubadorou; great Italian
cantoutore)
Jean-Jeaques Goldman (ex. the French sympho-rock band, "Tai Phong"; now the
French Superstar; the greatest "POP" artist)
Flavio Venturini & 14 BIS (ex. the Brazilian prog-rock band, "O Terco",
later formed his own sympho-pop-rock band "14 BIS", now a solo artist; ...
of course I would say "GREAT!!!")
Keith Jarrett (publically, "...genius." (Miles Davis) and personally, "My
Song")
It is obvious that I love all of my idol's albums but I also have other
artists' albums which have given me big impacts and impressions. These
artists are; New Trolls (Italian), Banco Del Muttuo Soccorso (Italian),
Premiata Forneria Marconi, (Italian), Le Orme (Italian), Area (Italian; w/ the greatest
avan-rock vocalist Demetrio Stratos), Locanda Delle Fate (Italian), Celeste (Italian),
Franco Battiato (Italian), Claudio Baglioni (Italian), Magma (French), Zao (French; i.e., post
Magma), Isirdurus Bane (Swedish), Sagrado Coracao Da Terra (Brazilian),
Victor Jara (the great Chilien singer & poet), Pat Metheny (Amercan), Chick Corea
(the American...), Yes (British), King Crimson (British), the Beatles (of course, British),
any album with the great Japanese Drumer, Kozo Suganuma, and all the German Jazz label,
ECM artists.
As a classically trained artist I have to list following composers as my
