Kill

Kill is the band formed by DragKing alums Barrett Heaton and Lavon Washington when they moved out west to San Francisco. Kill incorporates many different extreme musiks and musical landscapes into one solid, unrelenting sonic attack.

Barrett played guitar on the first DragKing single. During the quiet lulls in "Jazz Monster" the conscientious listener can hear this surge of six-string feedback fighting against the silence, that's Barett in action. He also plays the melodic lead part on "Backburner". Barrett quit DragKing shortly before leaving for Europe, and then New Mexico, and then San Francisco where he is currently working on his comix, the most well known being "Lozenge", and various analog sound collages for Kill.

Lavon Washington was one of the founding members of DragKing and played various drums and percussive devices throughout all of Dragking's recordings up through "Kill Yr Boss". He is now the drummer and defacto leader of the band Kill. Listen to the songs "Tape Will Tell" and "Bass/lb."(both of which Lavon wrote)to catch a small sample of his genius.
